Summer Cricket

Preston Druids has a thriving Junior Cricket program for boys and girls alike. We have teams to suit all age groups from Under 10s through to Under 16s. Through our close ties with the Darebin Falcons, we also provide a joint pathway for girls to play in all-girls teams right up to senior levels.

Junior training is Wednesdays 5pm-6:30pm at our home ground W H Robinson Reserve. U10 Boys, U12 Mixed and U14 Boys play Friday nights, while U10 Girls play Monday nights.

​Woolworths Cricket blast is a program for juniors aged 4-8 years old designed as an entry level to learn the basic skills required to kick start their cricket journey.  We run the program from 9:30am to 10:30 am each Saturday morning at Robinson Reserve in November, December and February.  Click on the Blasters Registration Link if you would like to join​​

Winter Cricket

We know the kids love for cricket doesn't stop when the summer season ends, so the Druids also compete in indoor cricket competitions all through winter (April - August). Indoor cricket is fast and fun. Our venue (Northcote Indoor Sports) is close by and each game only takes 50 minutes. Think basketball with a bat! Indoor Cricket also helps to keep kids cricket skills up to scratch all year round. U10s play Monday nights, and U12-U14s play Fridays.
